About the artist:

Son of  the very talented ceramist Macario Ortiz he was born surrounded by the Mata Ortiz art and learned since he was 14 years old. He has won three importat prizes: The Main prize in 2011 Mata Ortiz contest, third place in Metepec Arbol de la Vida contest and second place during the 2016 Mata Ortiz contest for policrome ceramic.
