About the artist;
Following the family tradition of making black, burnished, and incised pieces he learned from his father Reynaldo Quezada (brother of Juan Quezada, the master). So he has been doing pottery since he was very young for more than 20 years. They also burnish the pieces with graphite to get a beautiful metallic look. Lately, he has successfully experimented with mixed colors of clay to get a marbleized effect.
Now he forms a team with his wife Rocio who has proven to be a very gifted artist too.
