About the artist:

She started to do pottery at age 15, doing small seed pots resembling the big black pieces in the shape that his father Reynaldo Quezada does. All of them are incised with a kitchen knife when the clay is still wet. Then, when the clay gets dry they burnish the piece to get the fantastic glossy look.

When Lupita got married she learned by her husband Hector Quintana to carve her pieces drawing amazing nature´s designs in soft and elegant colors.
