Aboout the artist

She was born in 1988 in Mata Ortiz and started to do pottery when she was 12 years old. Her parents Santos Ledezma and Rosa Loya taught her the ceramic skills. At the bigining she performed Paquime geometrical designs and nowadays she does more carved nature’s designs like birds and flowers.
