About the artist:

She was born in 1987 in the nearby town of Casas Grandes but lives in Mata Ortiz. She started to learn pottery art when she was 20 years old motivated by her husband Efren Lopez. They both do a great team since they both do the whole process of the beautiful sgraffito pots they make.
