About the artist:

Following the family tradition of making black, burnished, and incised pieces he learned from his father Reynaldo Quezada (brother of Juan Quezada, the master). So he has been doing pottery since he was very young for more than 20 years.  They also burnish the pieces with graphite to get a beautiful metallic look.
